Phil’s sketchbooks are the driving force behind his finished work, and are more importantly the training ground for exploring ideas and techniques - as his art tutor told him often enough! The two galleries on this site are divided into those concepts and scribbles used in the studio and those selected by Phil for pure enjoyment
